Senior Program Associate
Ijeoma furthers Reboot’s programmatic work, particularly in West Africa, by supporting our client engagements, field research, and business development.
Ijeoma comes to Reboot after working in various African nations. In Uganda, she supported community-based organizations in tackling organizational management challenges and implementing sustainable development projects ranging from agro-processing to improving communication systems for isolated rural communities. Additionally, her work has extended across Rwanda and South Africa focusing on women’s rights and online citizen engagement campaigning, respectively.
A strategic researcher, Ijeoma has experience advising on, evaluating, and implementing community-led development initiatives in the health and governance sectors. She previously worked on Nigeria’s first comprehensive electoral engagement and real-time results tracking website—supported by DFID and spearheaded by the West African NGO Network—which also promotes youth engagement in good governance and government accountability. As a 2015-2016 Global Health Corps Fellow in Uganda, Ijeoma focused on promoting global health equity to address extreme disparities in health outcomes and access to healthcare.
Ijeoma holds a Master’s in Social Administration, with a concentration in Community and Social Development from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Ijeoma is an avid traveler and loves to explore new places and meet new people. Her motto, when it comes to international development, is: “Don’t confuse difficult with impossible.”
