Georgette Stewart

Finance Manager

Georgette is Reboot’s finance lead, responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance. She coordinates the development and maintenance of day-to-day and strategic project and organizational budgets.

Prior to Reboot, Georgette worked as an accounting consultant, servicing a variety of nonprofit organizations, including Safe Horizon. Earlier, she worked as an accountant at the Institute for Medical Education and Research, where she focused on financial reporting, project reconciliation, and grants management. In particular, she became a subject matter expert on all aspects of grant accounting, including post-award grant administration and expenditure analysis.

Georgette is an active volunteer. She served as a reading tutor for Americorps in Florida. She also currently sits on the board of Friends and Family Connection, a nonprofit that awards scholarships to high school students in South Florida.

Georgette holds a degree in economics from Florida State University and an MBA in finance from Nova Southeastern University. Hailing from Florida, she returns to South Beach most chances she gets. Georgette is also a mean baker, particularly in the red velvet cake department.
