Chioma is Reboot’s Program Manager for the West Africa office, leading projects that bring together media, civil society, communities, and government to advance social justice. She manages our work from research through design, implementation, and reporting, and builds new partnerships to expand our impact in media and governance in West Africa.
Prior to joining Reboot, Chioma led a team providing bespoke communication and social media strategies for individuals, small businesses, governments, and international clients. Before that, she produced two seasons of the award-winning radio series “Story Story” with the BBC World Service Trust (now Media Action), which uses drama to spark discussion on civic issues. She is also Founder of TechHer, a community of learning, support, and collaboration for women in technology.
Chioma is a writer and political and social commentator whose work appears in Foresight for Development, Huffington Post, and Nigeria’s foremost online paper Premium Times. Chioma is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and serves as the Deputy Curator of the Abuja Hub.
Chioma has a Master’s Degree in Social Media from Birmingham City University and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication. She adores MOOCs and new opportunities to learn.
