As leader of our core business operations team, Andrew keeps the Reboot ship in good working order. He applies his entrepreneurial mindset and empathetic problem-solving skills across Reboot’s operations, HR, and finance units, helping us chart a straighter course toward our social mission.
Andrew has spent the majority of his career in the US nonprofit arena, specializing in the start-up and maturation of a range of new and growing initiatives. These include the development of hundreds of units of permanent, supportive housing for vulnerable homeless populations; participatory design and development of urban parks and open spaces; and experiential education training programs for talented civic leaders.
A couple of years back, Andrew moved from the programs side to focus his attention on supporting successful social impact efforts through effective business operations. He particularly enjoys nurturing talent and helping others to discover, understand, and develop their unique skills and abilities.
Originally from Detroit, Andrew is a graduate of Kalamazoo College and holds a Master in Urban Planning from UCLA. He remains committed to the issue of affordable housing and serves on the advisory board of the Fund for Public Housing. Andrew speaks fluent Spanish and continues to work on his Indonesian—where his partner hails from—with a goal to one day be able to say much more than “I sleepy now thank you.”
