Communications & Advocacy Associate
Kisha is Reboot’s advocacy specialist, and a communications and marketing whiz. She drives our mission forward by growing relationships with key partners and by spreading Reboot ideas through creative content and strategies.
Kisha has spent her career helping organizations increase their impact through stronger communications. As a communications intern at Washington University, she expanded the reach and reputation of the College of Arts & Sciences on multiple digital platforms. Later, in her Communications Coordinator role at LitWorld, Kisha executed a marketing strategy to represent an education campaign spanning 50 programs across 27 countries. As a Global Leadership Program Fellow at Avencion, she helped build a new communications strategy at a growing development consultancy based in Zambia.
Kisha’s interest in international issues deepened while working at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria, for three summers during college. In Nigeria, Kisha gained the tools to critically engage with the complexities of the development sector.
Tanzanian-born and Florida-raised, Kisha graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in International Development. She now aspires to live in NYC long enough to officially stake her claim as a “New Yorker,” eating her way through the city one Restaurant Week at a time.
